The West St. Paul Curling club hosted 23 teams in the annual MJCT Winter U18. Getting these
teams together to compete as a tune up for the Asham U18 Provincials in Riverton was a great
success.
The MJCT was proud to spend this past weekend honouring our long time chair Albert Bazinet
after his passing in early October of this year. The weekend began with the opening ceremonies
where Albert’s family was presented with his Honourary Life Member award by Resby Coutts and
Elaine Owen from CurlManitoba. See our Facebook post for more details.
For the first time in a while we had a 24 teams competing for the title this year over
3 days, 9 round robin draws and playoffs. Extra ends caused everything to end a little
later this year and here are your winners.
